Things that are important to us

As we were exploring and expanding our knowledge about ourselves and about the world around us, we increasingly felt that, for us to be joyful we need a few things constantly in our life. The idea of this keeps evolving but for now, these seem to be more or less the areas that make us feel joyful and happier in general:

  • Meaningful relationships: Having those people around us that enrich us and our relationship. People who might not always agree with us or our lifestyle, but those who are respectful of our lifestyle, our way of thinking, and our life in general. 
  • Healthy living: Having a healthy body and mind. Make conscious choices about what we do with our bodies, what we eat and how we take care of it. Having balance in our speaking, thinking, and emotions seem to bring a lot more joy to our day. Reading about the world around us and about the religions and spirituality seem to bring a lot of calm and peace to our minds and souls. 
  • Giving back: Volunteering enriches our souls. We realised that giving back to the world we live in made us feel joyful and happier.
We want to continue to explore these areas and find ways to make relationships with our friends, relatives, and the world around us meaningful and joyful.
