How much the next generation cares about the world depends on what we teach our children.

The original lyrics of this song tell the story of a fox who steals a goose and is threatened with being shot if he does not bring it back.

Such treatment of a living being that wants to simply satisfy its hunger and singing about violence / punishment in a nursery rhyme is not suitable for children.

Kathi's rewritten text suggests children that when we see someone who is hungry, we can share our food with them. Our world is made such, that there is enough food for everyone as long as we share.
