Part 5: One year in Goa - Saying Goodbyes

We planned on staying here for a month, but we ended up staying here for over a year. Our time here was really wonderful. Even though Covid was the leading topic around the world and also in India, we ended up finding a wonderful place surrounded by amazing people with beautiful hearts. As we used to go for daily walks and also walk to the nearby market to get our groceries, fruits and vegetables, we got developed familiarity with the many people around us. We took tome to say goodbyes to them and give our contacts to them so we can see each other again someday.

As we started our plans to leave, the second wave of Covid was slowly starting in India, and most of the trains and buses were being cancelled. But we decided to stay with our plans and head out of Goa towards Kerala and see where life takes us from there. We made memories and connected with people that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

If you want to live in Goa in a quiet village environment surrounded by nature and kind people, Chandor is a place you should definitely consider. And here is the Airbnb link to the house where we stayed, in case you want to stay where we stayed - https://www.airbnb.co.in/users/show/26949181
